Crystal Quest is a job well done when it comes to being an arcade game. The layout is simple as most arcade games are. The unique types of enemies, which change to more challenging enemies as you progress, spurt out from the sides. Your goal is to collect all of the crystals and exit though a small slot on the bottom which may prove to be challenging if your going to fast. You can collect bombs, which can blast all of the monsters off the screen if there's just too many of them, extra lives, and points. If you live long enough you can run though a bonus round madly collecting as much stuff as you can since you're confined to a shortening space every second, get the game if you want to know what I mean.

The graphics are good for an arcade game. Each enemy that pops out has its own unique way of attacking and moving around. After you beat a round you get to see he rather enjoyable results displayed for you through this weird contraption that has goo represent the amount of points you've made. Then the go passes around the contraption with neat sounds following. It was an interesting thing to add.

The sounds are superb, and one of the best parts of this game. If you don't have any sound then there's no point to get this game.

Overall this arcade game is truly great. If your no good with a steady hand and quick thinking then don't get it because this game requires tolerance.
