Zany Golf is a dos game that would not appeal to serious golfers. It is meant to play golf in a fun and unusual way for entertainment purposes and does not require special knowledge of golf. I completed the entire game and enjoyed it for the different interesting obstacles that one has to overcome. You may play it using the mouse or the keyboard. Although the graphics are not considered outstanding in today's gaming era, they are still look acceptable.

I like this game for the segments in certain levels that makes incorporates an arcade game style rather than a mini-golf game because it does not involve putting. No other mini-golf game has this kind of arcade segment. Players can find this out for themselves as I do not want to spoil the element of surprise. In addition, I enjoy hitting the golf-ball to a 'secret' area (that would in turn lead to a secret extra level) because of the way this is done.

If you like mini-golf games like Zany Golf, you should try '3D Ultra Minigolf Deluxe', a mini-golf game which is quite simliar to this but has better graphics and sounds, different beautiful 3D environments and entertaining animated scenes of the golf-ball moving through its course and animated ways when the golf-ball uses the shortcuts.

After trying many mini-golf games, 3D Ultra Minigolf Deluxe is my most favourite mini-golf game while Zany golf is my next favourite mini-golf game. Until today, I have still not come across any other mini-golf game that could replace or even excel over these two.
