“Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego Deluxe” is a remake of the popular educational release “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego”. This version has better graphics, better sound and a larger database of countries and cities to visit and learn about.

As an employee of the ACME Detective Agency, your object is to catch the professional thieves of Villains' International League of Evil (VILE) and their brilliant criminal mastermind leader, Carmen Sandiego. You will fly around the world and visit many interesting cities, interview witnesses, and deduct clues so that you can issue an arrest warrant.

Some noticeable changes of interface include replacing the printer with a mobile videophone, and a 50 sheet ACME Notepad that displays a checklist of people to interview and call. The interface although more innovated than the original, is still as easy to use. The music and sound effects have been improved and with a PowerPC Macintosh, the graphics are capable of supporting thousands of colours.
