Be respectful of other people when posting on the message board. Do not impersonate another member of the message board.
Thousands of viewers read the message board on a daily basis. Please have something to say. A message such as, "anyone in here?" takes up countless minutes when the number of viewers who read the post is taken into consideration. Please make intelligent posts which have a purpose and keep posts to the appropriate forums. Write only in english in the general forum.
Promotion of sites or products is not permitted, unless the concerned sites are Abandonwares. Promotion of non-abandonwares sites are tolerated in the Cool Sites forum, submitted to the acceptation of the moderators here. A Site is allowed in the signature, as long as it keeps reasonnable size...Anyway the promotion of any illegal site or product, or a legal product which use leads to illegal issues will lead to an automatic ban for the user.
There is no limit number of posts that a person can leave in a day. However, all the posts that means nothing or too many post will give a warn as described in the Warns section.
If you have a question you can't take on the board, contact one of the moderator of the concerned forum. Be sure that is really necessary before... In case of really important matter the moderator can't handle, you can contact the Super Moderator by private message only. You'll get an answer as fast as possible and only if the question was justified. You can contact the Administrator directly if there's a really serious issue.
The board is public so even if we do our best, we cannot check every posts that are there. We (the administrators, super moderators, moderators) cannot be held responsible of any offending/illegal post. We'll do our best to delete it once we got warned of it. On the same idea, all posts become public property and everyone is free to copy part of total of which is posted. It's however welcome to indicate your source if you copy a large part of text.
If a forum have sticky special rules, you have to look them and respect them. They can be found on the top of each forum if they exist.
Attachments : The attachment function is not supposed to be a storage place. We cannot guarantee your attachments will stay lifelong, and we (administrators, moderators) have the right to delete any attachment without any explanations at any time. Any abusive use of the attach function will result in a warn. Attachments are provided as a service, not as an obligation.
